Do I continue taking birth control and anxiety pills if I feel there's a good chance i either have conceived or might very soon??

Don't come off your anxiety pills until it's confirmed and you've asked your doctor. I've been taking anxiety medication for years and thought I'd have to stop, but my doctor and my Ob both agreed it's do more harm than good to stop.

Do NOT drop your anxiety meds suddenly unless your doctor says it's ok. They can help you wean off safely. A lot of meds can cause a rebounding effect if you stop suddenly (meaning you may feel worse for a good chunk of time than better). I was on anxiety meds myself.

Don't come off them until your doctor has confirmed that that is the right thing to do.

Most brands of BC pills won't harm a developing baby as they work by preventing conception, not killing anything conceived! Just make sure stopping them won't trigger a period.

For the anxiety stuff, you may need to go onto a different tablet, or you may stay on what you are on. There's a chance you'll have to wean off but the doctor will decide whether the benefits of doing that outweigh the risk. Anxiety isn't good for the baby so they will consider that Vs any possible side-effects.

Obviously ask your doctor but I'd say stop both. But I don't know if you can cold turkey stop anxiety medication so again, ask your doctor.
