Child beat in barber shop

At first seeing this video it broke my heart. This mother spanks her son HARD (like winding up her arm and throwing down) in the middle of the barber shop. She pulled his pants down so his butt is exposed, sits on his upper back and wails on him. The child is maybe 10-12. There are at least 10 people watching. I tend to read the comments on things and was thinking, “Wow so many people are probably outraged!” But...I couldn’t find ONE comment against it. Some people made it into a race thing saying “white people ain’t hit their kids so that’s why they disagree” and most people just called it a good old fashioned whooping. I was so surprised that that was the consensus. There were thousands of comments. Personally, I’m against spanking so the whole video crumbles me and I think it’s nothing short of disgusting abuse. But I know there are many pro-spanking people on here and apparently judging by facebook, I have the unpopular opinion. What do y’all think?

A) Whether you're for or against spanking, you're against this ENTIRE scenario. He shouldn't have been spanked in public like that, let alone with his pants down.

B) Spanking him like that in public is fine but his pants should have been up.

C) This was totally fine. It was a good, old fashioned whooping. He probably did something to deserve needing the humility.
