Dry CM + Clomid + Ovulation cramps =???

So some background information: in August I went to my OBGYN to talk to them about getting the ball rolling (been off B.C. since Feb. ‘16). They prescribed me Clomid to take CD5-9. She told me that if I wanted more, then I would have to go to their fertility specialist.

First round, I know without a shadow of a doubt I ovulated Oct. 6 (at 12:30-1 am) because of the CM. It has NEVER been like that. & 2 weeks later, started my period.

So, trying to start my second round..... they wouldn’t give me the clomid because she wanted to see what my body was doing without the clomid. Had an ultrasound (CD13) & saw my ovaries & eggs. Had 1 huge egg! They drew my blood to check my estrogen levels. On CD13, my level was 289 —- they like for it to be around 300 so my doctor said I probably ovulated later than predicted.

Started my period & she prescribed me

Clomid to take CD3-7. This round, I have experienced cramps around the time I should be ovulating (around a week after my last pill). However, my CM has been so dry. Not during intercourse.... intercourses hasn’t been an issue at all! Does this mean my progesterone levels could be low? I got CD21 to have those levels checked & im
