So there’s this guy I’ve had a thing for for over a year. About a month ago he and his girlfriend of 7 years officially broke up (they’re never getting back together because of what happened). When he came back home from college he was explaining to me that I was the only girl that came closest to replacing her etc, however, he didn’t want to rush into a relationship out of fear he’d end up thinking of me as a rebound. then, we had sex and we both paused and he looked me in my eyes and told me “I love you”. After he elaborated that we should just be best friends to get to know me more until he’s ready for a relationship. But, since then, he hasn’t made an effort to talk to me as much. He’s a great guy at heart and made me feel so admired and loved simply with his words since I’ve known him. Should I wait on him to come around or should I forget it?🤔
