9months and no crawling standing and still stabilized sitting?

We’re sort of in the same boat. My daughter is 9 months and can sit unsupported but has moments of wobbliness. She’s not crawling or pulling up to stand. She does get on her hands and knees but she just sort of rocks in one spot. Our pediatrician recommended physical therapy so we’re starting that process now. Mostly they’ve given us core exercises and some ones to work on her arm strength - so for example having her lean with one hand on the ground to support herself. I don’t know how worried to be about it 🤷🏼‍♀️ it seems like babies do things at their own time but also that she’s a bit behind so there’s no harm in doing PT. She was stuck in one position breech in utero for my entire third trimester so they said maybe it’s because she was bundled up so tight for so long. Good luck mama.

My daughter didn’t start sitting unassisted till 7 months, while on her belly she pushes herself backwards and she gets on all fours but just rocks back and forth and doesn’t go anywhere. I am not really concerned at this point. I know once she gets crawling everything else is going to happen really fast.

I’m with you. Physically, it seems my baby stopped progressing after she was able to sit. She still won’t get on her knees during tummy time and can’t pull herself up. Our doctor called it a slight delay, so I’m trying not to freak out yet and focus on helping her develop.

My baby is 8.5. months and she is super active, crawling and pulling up to stand,  but I know it is normal for babies to not be doing that stuff yet! Developmental timelines vary baby to baby. I think my baby just has high motivation to move. when it comes to language, she might be a bit behind as she is just now starting to babble a lot, but I hardly hear consonants at all yet. Seems to me babies focus their energies on what interests them the most and other skills might not be learned quite as quickly! But if you're concerned, it doesn't hurt to ask your pediatrician if they're concerned as well! :)
