Test too early?

I’m 6 days before (hopefully) missed AF and got a BFN this morning 😔 Could this be because I tested too soon hoping I’d be part of the 65% that get a positive when you test “6 days before your missed period”? I’m starting to lose hope... 3 of my friends are pregnant and I’m just hoping it’ll be our time soon... I’m so happy for them starting their families but now I’m starting to be jealous and this wait is killing me!! I keep thinking I’m making up symptoms because I want to give my hubby our first child for Christmas and this BFN isn’t giving me much hope 😭 I’ve been trying to think “if it happens it happens” but now that I got this, I’m getting emotional and discouraged...

Sorry if I’m rambling... just not sure what to think or feel right now...
