IUD is annoying??? Mirena. BC options????

I got the iud put in, over a month ago. and it's been non stop spotting, blood clots. brown discharge. that I can deal with. but I've had this burning sensation down there too, and starting to get an odor as well. I was told it was low hormones, but turns out its not? My body is super sensitive to everything. I know it takes up to 4-6 months for your body to adjust but I'm really not feeling right about this. any birth control recommendations that's less hormones but still effective? thinking about the pill again...
