I’m a 17 year old teen mom. My daughter is 8 months old. I have been taking care of my daughter on my own, with some help from her fathers side. Her father is currently incarcerated so his mother takes over on some of the expenses of the baby’s necessities. I’m hopefully graduating a year early, I’m done with all my classes. I’m just waiting on testing results to give me the OK on graduating this May coming up. I am in homeschooling. But now since I don’t need to focus on school anymore, I’d like to get a job to be able to financially support my daughter more. But the problem is I have no babysitter. Nobody’s willing to help me. My mother doesn’t live in my state, and my father isn’t the one to help. None of my siblings want to help me, and I have a very few extended family members that aren’t willing to help either. Also, there’s barely people on her father side that would be willing to help. I have no friends either. I really just don’t know what to do at this point. I don’t know if I’m able to get vouchers for my daughter, and I’m just scared of letting somebody I don’t know babysit my child because of all the horror stories I hear. Please don’t be insensitive because I am young, I’m trying my best to deal with the situation. Please just give me advice on what to do :(
