Is this normal?

So I have cramps three days before my period, the whole 8 days I’m on my period and three days after. These aren’t like little cramps, it’s to the point where I cry and can’t move. Pills don’t help, hot baths and hot pads don’t help. I’ve seen my doctor and she says it’s normal and my mom mom won’t let me go on birth control. I’m 15 and I get nauseous and have really heavy periods all 8-9 days. I just really need so advice
