Has anyone had a micro-preemie around 23 weeks?

So I have a friend that just gave birth last night and just trying to get a view on real life stories because google is a terrifying tool.

23 weeks is survivable. However it takes a fighter. Depending on the gender that actually makes a difference too. Girls have a better chance of survival at that age than boys. It has something to do with how they develop

My cousin did just had a 25wk baby 5mos ago baby was release from the hospital last month because he was so tiny so they kept him there until he finished developing and had the strength to do what 36wk old babies could. It was a touch and go, for a while we though he wouldn’t pull through but he was a fighter. He’s the tiniest 5mo old I’ve ever seen

I know a 2 women that did, but neither baby survived long. 23 weeks is so early, I don’t think there’s even a 50/50 chance at that point. Good luck to your friend!
