Saw the point made somewhere that it was disrespectful to Japanese culture to eat sushi in America. Though it was ridiculous. Thought I’d make it a poll!

I live in Japan. They love to share their food and culture with Americans. It make them feel like we have a better understanding of their culture (people). 
I personally don’t think it’s racist. Rather I’m here in Japan or home in California, I be fucking Japanese food up. It’s so good to me.

Is eating spaghetti racist? Lasagna? No.
It's food. I complete respect the traction, effort, and and bond that people put into sushi making where it comes from- but it is in no way racist for me to enjoy it here in the states, just because it's fucking delicious.
