old friend

we moved the the other side of the world 4 yrs ago. about a year ago we went back to visit our families. after having contact with my friend over skype ect i was excited to be able to see her face to face. But it ended up being totally weird and kind of strange. we mind if had nothing to talk about. i had two kids she is single and would say like i can see your boob when i was breastfeeding my son. And that annoyed me and sort of turned me off her. she also made comment over my husbands appearance which only small but still hurt.

so after returning to our ‘home’ we continued to skype for only a couple of months. then we had hoilidays of our own and time change made it difficult to skype. so cut a ling story short we haven’t spoken now for 5to 6 months. my birthday was yesterday and i received a message. a day later. it was simply a happy birthday message with nothing eles attached but i kind of feel from like i just want to cut contact but dont have the guts too.

any advice would be great
