Puppies 1 or 2?!?!

Going to get a puppy today I'm trying to decide if I should get one or two what do y'all think?

One is enough but two would keep each other company! It really depends on how much time you have.

I would only take one. But if you do take two just make sure you watch out for signs of litter mate syndrome! :)

1 is enough. It’s very difficult juggling the individual needs of multiple puppies and they’re require their own dedicated training time (alone). Plus, pups can develop unhealthy attachments to litter mates that make separation at a later time near impossible... even simple things like vet trips.

They are precious 😭 it depends on if you can afford to care for them both. If you can afford to feed them both, take them to the vet and have them in a safe and healthy environment, have time to be with them and train them etc then both!

Do some reading on littermate syndrome before you adopt two puppies of the same age. It takes a lot of work to raise a well-trained and socialized puppy when it’s just one. It takes 10 times the work to raise two. If you don’t have the time or resources, stick with one or none.
