irregular, prescription progesterone while ttc

hi all, so i have had fairly regular periods since coming off bc. its been more than a year since I've been on any form of it. My last regular period was July 14-18 and then it was almost two months before my next one on September 5th-10th and then nothing until October 24th, at which time the period lasted almost two weeks and was heavy, ended on November 7th. i haven't had anything since. multiple neg tests in the last 2 weeks. seen my doc yesterday, she did blood work and said if the blood test comes back neg that she will prescribe me a form of progesterone to get my periods back on track. Has anyone experienced this and had luck ttc within the next couple months after taking the progesterone to regulate? picture starched to make it easier to see/understand my cycles
