Anterior placenta blues

At my last appointment (14w1d) the nurse and doc were unable to find the heartbeat for longer than a split second. I bucked up because I know that with the placement of the placenta this is expected, but was hoping they’d grab the bedside ultrasound to verify the heartbeat. They didn’t. Either one. Instead I wanna scheduled for a more complete ultrasound when I was closer to 16 weeks. That appointment is on Monday and now I’m trying to not freak out. I’ll be 15w5d and I’ve not heard my baby girl’s heartbeat since I was 11w dealing with the kidney stone.

I thankfully have a 5 day stretch where I don’t have to work at the hospital and get to relax at home, but with all of this free time I’m getting more and more anxious as the days go on.
