gestational diabetes

I recently got diagnosed with polyhydramnois At week 35 so they re tested my glucose levels at 36 weeks and I failed. They are having me do the 3 hour test at 37 weeks 4 days. I am scheduled to be induced at 39 weeks 1 day because of polyhydramnois. Wondering if this happened to anyone late in the pregnancy and what they did? I can’t imagine them teaching me everything there is to know about GD and have to prick my finger when I’m going to deleiver less than 10 daysafter that. Do you think They will take my baby earlier than that? I’m so nervous!
