Make up and acne

For the past few years I’ve had terrible cystic acne. Can’t do much about it as far as oral medications go because of trying to conceive. Have tried some prescription creams and still nothing works. Kinda had given up. For awhile I’ve been using Kat Von D lock it powder for foundation. Every now and then ill use Estee lauder double wear liquid foundation. My acne was actually starting to clear up after using the Kat Von D powder. Whenever I switch to the liquid foundation though, I realize the next day my acne is back in full force and terrible and painful. Is it possible the liquid foundation has something to do with it?! Anyone else ever have this kinda problem?
