TTC after Mirena IUD removal

I had the Mirena for roughly 5 years, when me and my SO decided to have it removed and try for our 1st baby. Exciting right??

Well, it WAS. I hoped that I would be that girl that got pregnant immediately. but instead I was the girl that got an extremely heavy period and extremely heavy attitudes to match

I knew this was normal and it may take my body a couple months to regulate so I dealt with it. I really mean, my SO DEALT with it! He was such a trouper! One time I got so upset and started crying because I didnt wanna drive 😂😂🙈Yes, this was stupid I know! But i couldnt help it 🤦

So now my cycles are extremely regular at 26 days. and I only get level 5 attitudes vs the previous level 20's lol But now im extremely discouraged because i have not gotten my BFP yet. Baby where you at tho?

Ik it has not by any means been a very long time (going on 6 months) but I just wanna say my heart goes out to those who have been trying for what seems to feel like forever!

Im concerned that the IUD may have affected my fertility in some way. Of course I can be overreacting but I haven't seen many "ttc after IUD stories" and wanted to share my experiences. I'm gonna keep trying, im just really frustrated as ive just started my period again!
