When is it time to see a fertility doctor?

Provera did not work to start my period. Have switched two-3 OBGYNS because they want to put me on birth control after clearly letting them know I am TTC.

they say after a year off ttc. my husband and I went to specialists first because I didn't want to ttc a year before finding out there's something wrong... depending on how long u ttc for and if u have the means to, I would start now...

& I have been trying to conceive for over a year; I had irregular periods so doctor put me on provera she stated I would start my period within 2-14 days. Time passed by she called to let me know 3 days after seeing her for follow that my U/S Showed My uterine lining very thin. 3mm. That’s when she mentioned the BC

Ps. They don’t get to decide if you get on birth control or not. That’s your choice as an adult woman.
However, most specialists will require a referral to even see you, if they won’t give you the referral, you might not even get to see a specialist.

I was TTC for 1 year and 6 months before my OBGYN did a tubal chrome dye to check for a blockage. It wasn’t that, but I got pregnant a few months later before we started on anything else.
