Are all marriages miserable?

Am I doing something wrong? Am I with the wrong person? Should I leave? Sometimes I find myself wishing he would cheat so I would have a "legit" reason to leave or that he would die so I don't have to deal with him anymore. Is this normal? Help!

I’ve had 2 of my best friends both end their marriages this month simply bc they weren’t happy and after trying to “make” it work for so long they decided it was just time to be happy.

not all marriages are miserable but I think marriages are hard work and it takes effort to stay bonded with your partner. I would only consider divorce as a absolute last resort.

I definitely think you are worthy of happiness and you do not need a further reason to leave your husband. Marriage is supposed to feel warm and comforting, like a sanctuary; don’t settle for less.

Not normal to feel miserable.  I cannot imagine my life without my husband..of course we have our ups and downs, but I've never wanted to be without him.  I would seriously consider individual and/or couples counseling to decide if this is a relationship you should try to work out or not.
