Is Waverly Beecher too strange for a name combo?!

Hubby and I are only planning to have one baby.. and I'd like to use 2 family names. Husband's middle name is Beecher --related to Harriet Beecher Stowe -- that will be baby's middle name also, regardless of gender.

Waverly is my mother's middle name (and my great grandfather's first name).

Is Waverly Beecher too much?

I like how unique, and think it could work well for either gender. But I like it better for a girl. Gender is unknown still...

I really want to incorporate both sides of the family since we plan only one child.
