Irregular periods

I have very irregular periods and normally when I have them they’ve been induced (as docs have requested) however for the first time since we have been TTC I’ve had my first natural period... it’s now been 7 days and I’m still bleeding lightly but it’s brown? Is this normal? It can’t be old blood either as my last period was 6 weeks ago... (normally at least 10months apart) Never had it before...
