Her story. Maybe you can relate.

Let me tell you a little story. This is Christal a little over a year ago. She had love in her heart, eyes full of dreams, and her smile was full of hope. She met a boy who was older and she didn't know any better. He saw her as nothing more then a child. He belittled her and even tried to hit her a few times. She was brave enough to walk away but her eyes could not unsee those moments. A few months later, as she started her second semester of college, she met another boy. She wasn't looking for anyone, he just appeared. Within weeks they fell in love. Truth be told, she loved him far more then he could ever love her. He lied, disrespected her by asking another girl to have sex with him, and reminded her many times that she was not a top priority. She finally built up the courage to walk away but her heart kept getting sucked in by a boy who didn't know what he wanted. She loved him and her heart could not let go. Once more she met another boy. Promised her the world. She was afraid to let him in. He begged her day in and day out to let him show her what love was. Promising to stay by her even though she felt like damaged goods. She was let down again.. he walked away.. there was no fight that would have cause it, there was no goodbye, and no explanation. He was gone and so was the hope in her smile. Now, let's not jump to the idea that this woman was weak. She fell, hard, but got right back up. She looked at the blessings she had around her and kept going. She's currently working on regaining the love she once had. She has remembered the dreams she once had and is fighting harder than ever to achieve them. Lastly, her smile, she's finding a new meaning for hope. Instead of having hope and trying to find happiness in others she's trying to find it within herself. Many don't know the story of the year I've had and truthfully this isn't all of it. I'd like to just share a part of me because I've proven to myself that I AM WORTHY of love and I WILL rebuild myself. You can too. ❤️
