I am 5 weeks pregnant.

Today I have spotting then it got a little heavier and now light pink . I checked again and barely anything is coming out. Is this normal for being pregnant at 5 weeks? I freaked out and called my doc. She said if there’s cramping and enough blood to fill up a pad or liner then I would have to go to the ER. Prob a miscarriage? I’m so scared and worried. Anyone here was spotting when they were pregnant and turned out fine with a healthy baby? After 3 years of trying, I finally got preg. :) I just hope this is normal.
