Trying to help or just being rude?
At my first OB appointment I was talking to the lady that gives you the whole bag with information and what not, the one who lets you know the things you already know. Except she felt a need to go more in depth than I felt necessary, like repeatedly tell me that I need to not gain any weight because she thinks I'm 'obese' (which I'm not, I'm only overweight). I like my OB but dealing with her made me feel terrible, when I had my daughter I was terribly overweight and have lost about 120lbs since having her. I may be overly sensitive but I just hate when people act like I don't know how to take care of my body just because I'm a bit overweight (5'8 and 190). I honestly love my body and don't plan on ever being much smaller. (Me at 4 weeks before I found out I'm pregnant).
