So my boyfriend and I were arguing and he said "I wish you would cheat on me so I can be done with you for good." 
Like I didn't even know how to react. I got super quiet when he said that and just carried on what I was doing and he hasn't said anything. What does him saying that even mean?

It sounds like he wants a reason to break up with you and he wants you to be the bad guy.. I'd take a look at your relationship and see if you really want to be with him.

People say things they don't mean sometimes and thats definitely something I think he regrets saying to you... I would talk to him more about it. 
If you feel like he was sending you an intentional message to leave, then I'd listen because thats just so messed up.
