BFP with old sperm?

My guy is going through thyroid hormone issues causing low sex drive & difficulty getting hard so TTC has been a lot of xtra stress & disappointment for both of us.

Most of the time we miss the majority of my fertile window & are only able to have sex once at the tail end on either side. Today we were able to BD but he hasn’t ejaculated in 3wks. (no sex & no masturbation either).

Is there even a chance I could get pregnant from this sperm since it’s so old? I know it’s recommended (& was directed by my doctor) to have sex every other day at least leading up to ovulation to keep sperm fresh & healthy & virile.... but he hasn’t been able to make that happen. 😩

We’ve been TTC our rainbow baby for 10months now & I have PCOS also. Just started clomid so it’s even more heartbreaking i’m on meds & he isn’t able to BD.
