How can I start a conversation with a cute guy?

Sorry for the totally juvenile question, but I'm clueless! I'm a senior in college and I've been single for about seven months after dating a guy for about six months. I'm taking a class this summer that only meets twice a week for six weeks. Each class is three hours long. There's this really cute guy in it with me and I would love to get to know him. I just don't know how to talk to him without seeming like a creeper haha. Any tips?
