Help me, I’m definitely dying

So my vagina has been getting very itchy and red & I have like this weird smell to my discharge aswell. Is it most likely a yeast infection? And can I get stuff over the counter for it in Australia ? Or should I go to a doctor (which I’d rather not because I’m scared they’re gonna put stuff inside me and that’s a no no) ? I also live with a single dad so it’s gonna be kinda awkward asking him to get me medicine and telling him I have an vaginal yeast infection and definitely not an STD (I’m only 16 and am still a virgin). Advice please?
