Baby allergic to milk ?!

My baby is 3 months and breastfed. I usually have a medium ice coffee from DD a few times a week and i noticed that when my baby feeds after I’ve had one she has a massive poop (usually a blow out) right after. Can she be allergic to the creamer/milk that’s in the coffee ? I’m just curious lol

Usually milk issues don’t happen immediately after a feed. They build up and last for a while. I’d think it’s more likely the coffee itself. I had to cut coffee because it causes similar issues for my youngest and I don’t use creamer

Definitely nothing to do with milk. Milk allergies are very rare in breast fed babies anyways! But more likely the coffee! Coffe acts as a stimulant = loose bowls. Even in adults. So if it’s very bad, cut out the caffeine.

Possibly not a milk allergy but lactose intolerance. This happened to my daughter (massive diaper blowouts when I breastfed after eating dairy) so we knew she was lactose intolerant (runs in the family). So I avoided dairy and we supplemented with a lactose free formula. Luckily when she was about 2 doc said she could take Lactaid which lets her digest dairy. She can enjoy milk and cheese and yogurt...just takes her chewable med first.

Sure she can.  If she is, it doesn’t necessarily (or even likely) mean that she’s got a food allergy for life.  These things usually pass.
If you suspect the coffee, try cutting it out for a couple weeks (replace with something you enjoy!) and see what happens!
