When will my period stop?

I have had my IUD for about 10 months now, and I still regularly get my period. I got my period, it stopped and then I was spotting for about a week, then my period was over 2 weeks late before I got it this last time. Is this normal? My cramps have calmed down as has the heaviness, but I want my period to stop.

Mine stopped a month or two later. I had no periods for 7 yrs.

it depends on your body tbh. non hormonal iuds won’t stop periods. mirena stopped mine completely whereas skyla it comes every month. it’s totally normal to still get a regular period.

i have the copper iud and have had it for 5 years and had my regular period every month.

It can be common for it to stop after 5 months but it doesn't stop for every girl
