My ex went to jail... but I’m in love with him

So I’m a freshman in highschool and I was dating this boy for 4 months and Now it’s gone to shit.

Ok I was talking to this boy for about a month and he fell In love with me... and we started dating. This boy was amazing, he was super sweet and cute and head over heels for me. Being the stupid teenager I am I wanted something more. I wanted to be able to be with other guys and do shit w other guys so I ended it. Mind the fact that this boy was in love with me..... I really messed him up. After I ended it he started doing drugs... bad. I mean he was always smoking weed but he started doing bars (xan) and coke..... long story short he ended up getting caught and going to jail. (He’s out now)

But I’ve come to realization that I miss him so what do I do?
