old wives tales

so im 9 weeks pregnant, I had my first ultrasound a couple days ago and i heard and saw the babies heart beating 😍 but im so curious to what the gender is, I personally don't care as long as s/he is healthy, but I decided to look up some at home experiments to try and I did the baking soda one (2tbsp of baking soda, add urine, if it stays flat its a girl if it fizzes up its a boy) and it foamed like crazy which indicates a boy. im gonna try a couple more this week and see what the results are but my gut feeling is we're having a boy. has anyone else tried any home experiments to determine the gender of your little peanut, and were they accurate?
