I just speak back in a calm voice so they see they look like an idiot yelling when it’s not necessary

Stare at them while they yell with a “🤢 wtf” face so they feel stupid lol but if it escalates then I walk away.

I’d walk away and talk to them when they were a little more calm. Nothing gets solved when someone starts shouting so there’s no point in standing there and listening.

i’m a bit of a fireball so when someone raises their voice at me, it’s instinct for me to yell back a tad louder. BUT when i’m feeling whitty, i’ll sit there and stare at them while they’re yelling at me, let them let it all out, then after a few seconds say “are you done” 😂 Ive noticed it makes them feel silly for yelling and/or makes more of an impact than just yelling back 🙂 i’m petty tho lol
