I really want to start a family, but is there a future for us both??

Hey everyone!

I'm 24 next month and I've been with my bf for 5 years. We have been renting a house for the past 4 years, we have our pets ect but I've been wanting to have a child for the past 3 or so years. I've waited so patiently and even asked when he could be ready and he said not until he's at least 30+ or older and financially stable (which I completely get) the issue is, he's 26 in the Navy (5+ years) He also said he does not want one until he's out of the forces as he doesn't want to miss anything. I'm currently at university studying veterinary nursing and working and we are more than financially stable I can assure you. Im not engaged and there's no sign of him wanting to do that any time soon either. He's literally the love of my life and he's amazing to me, but he's never here I see him 4 days a month for 6 months of the year and the other 6 months every two weeks. I've literally stood by him and his career even tho he hates it but i feel stuck, everyone around me is having children and getting married and I'm feeling so negative that he has no plans to make more commitment anytime soon, I feel so stuck. He also has no plans of coming out the forces either as he's been promoted and the money is to good. Help anyone else feel stuck, I feel like everything is on his terms and I'm just wanting to start a family!!
