can a 9 yo get croup or is it more likely to be whooping cough
my 9yo step son was up ALL night coughing sounding like our dog.. not like a seal though. he went into a coughing fit but it didnt have that gasping for breath noise that whooping cough presents. hes not as bad during the day at all. from what ive read online tho is that croup mainly affects babies and toddlers. we are taking him to dr soon but im just looking for opinions
