What should I do???

Ok I'm 13 and I'm in love with this boy and he says he's in love with me and he hugs me and holds my hand but hasn't kissed me he says he's waiting for the right time. So the problem is that he never compliments me or says anything sweet to me unless I say something bad about myself. My best friend is also best friends with him and he acts a like he likes her a little but I know she would never do that to me. And his other best friend they talk so much and she doesn't want us to be together and everyone thinks she likes my boyfriend and last year she broke us up and I'm scared it gonna happen again.
