Define The Relationship

So me and this guy have been talking for close to a year now. At first it was just. Few times a week or so and casual. Since the summer we've started hanging out. The first couple times we just hung out, then after that started hooking up. We've been seeing each other more than we used to and he texts me usually everyday. We've done everything except have sex so far. We usually hang out at each other's houses but we went out to dinner for the first time the other night but I wouldn't really call it a date even though he did kiss me. It was just super chill and casual. I know he likes me, why else would he keep bothering? But I am way too anxious and shy to have "the talk" with him about our "relationship". Are we FWB, causally dating, does he want to be exclusive?

Ughh just venting to you ladies. Have any of you been in this type of situation, and if so what happened with it? 🙃😩😐
