this may sound silly

i am going to be losing my virginity soon as i am getting married now we dont want to have children straight away maybe delay getting pregnant the first few months but i have never used contraception before as i am not too keen on the side effects and hormone changes and ideally would like to stay free of them how effective is the pulling out method? my husband wont be too keen on using a condom either...
