Sick baby.

So last night my daughter felt pretty warm I took her temperature and she had a fever. This morning her fever is staying between a 100 and 101 but her cough sounds terrible and seems to be getting worse. I've been giving her Tylenol and it's not helping much with the fever. I called the pedriatician as I am concerned and they are telling me to wait til morning. So wait til she gets worse? I'm never heard such a thing. Any other pediatricians say the same thing?
