tea when pregnant?

I am 6 weeks 3 days and its the only thing that seems to ease off my morning sickness I only have 1 but don't want to drink it if it's harmful

Nhs website says you can have 200mg of caffeine a day which is equivalent of 2 cups of coffee or 4 cups of tea :)

Tea in general is ok as long as you're not going over the caffeine limits. Talk to your OB but most recommend less than 200mg of caffeine per day, which is 2-3 cups of tea.
I've been having 2-3 cups of tea all day every day and baby's exactly on target for weight :)
If you have other medical conditions, baby is measuring small, or there are lifestyle factors such as smoking, your OB may recommend less or no caffeine at all (in addition to modifying said lifestyle factors).

avoid herbal teas but black tea is safe. I switched to decaf so that I can drink it as often as I like but even a couple cups a day of regular is safe.
