Implantation or period?

My husband and I are trying to convince after the lose of a baby in 2016. Kinda freaked out about the bleeding this month, not sure if it was period or implantation bleeding. I started bleeding 3 days before my period was due. It was very very light for 2 days then really light spotting for 3 days. No clots and not bright red. It was all pink and brown. Just debating if I should get a pregnancy test or not.

I didn’t have implantation bleeding with my 2 other pregnancies. I need help.
