12 months to old

For a 5/6 am feeding??

My son is BF and I want to wean within the next few weeks....

We JUST got him sleeping through the night for the most part but he still isn’t consistent yet.. and wakes sometimes at 2/3 am sometimes

I do NOT feed him before 5 am but I feel like it’s the reason he still has middle of the night wakings ..the problem is, at 5/6 he REFUSES to sleep even if I let him cry and he does go back to sleep he just wakes after 10-30 min and does this until his normal wake up time (7/7:30) but if I feed him he goes right down for another few hours. I’m confused if he REALLY does need that little nursing sesh or if I should just cut it out a 100% have him sleep trained... I’m pretty firm in the night but it is SO hard to know what to do at that 5/6 am time!!!! Especially since I REALLY want to wean soon! Should I cut this feeding out first or last? Any advice?
