i guess i should start with saying that im 19 and my bf is 24 with a child. he has been married once and was engaged before we met but that ended. we met months ago in college and started talking cause of the discussions we had in class. at first i turned him down on dates until one day i was just like okay ill give him a chance. the date went great (we went hiking and he was a real gentleman! he even opened the door to his car for me!) so like a week or two pass and we end up going on a lot of dates and then. we start dating.

well here is were i kinda need advice. our relationship is great we don't fight, we get along and we complement each other's personalities very well. But im afraid that he is still into his ex fiance. everytime he brings her into conversation he talks about all the memories they had and how he tried to get her back. i should probably explain why they broke up.

so one day his ex fiance was trying to so homework with his daughter and apparently his ex had anger issues and got annoyed at the little girl. his ex ended up hitting his child (his ex fiance isn't the mother of the child). when the little girl goes to school she has a mark where she got hit now pretty sure you know what happens next school got involved and DSS got involved. well right now we are trying to get his little girl home but its not going as planned.

alright so this is where im a little concern ive told him i loved him cause i honestly do. but he just tells me that he enjoys my presence or that he just likes my personality. even if i tell him i miss him he just kinda shrugs it off. he just did it to me when i got off the phone and that's why i need your help. he is kinda making me feel like he just doesn't care.

can you girls give me some advice on what i should do?!?
