One drink for EBF mom on NYE?

I have been breastfeeding exclusively for 90 days and would really like jsut one glass of wine tonight for New Years. Ive read everywhere that it shoukd be fine, especially if it’s after i put her down for the night (she sleeps at least 5 hours straight anymore). What have you EBF moms done?

You'll be fine! Have more than one if you want, just take it kind of slow so it has time to process through your bloodstream/milk supply. Happy NYE! 🍾

I put one drink is ok,  but really if you're safe to drive, you're safe to nurse! 😊

They're still studying drinking while breastfeeding, but recent studies suggest it's actually not harmful. In one study it was found that breastfed infants of drinking mother's scored equally on development tests and scored higher on social development tests. 
If you're uncomfortable, you can pump and dump after drinking.
