Finally. 😬

I finally am ENGAGED! After 5 years lol ❤️

Let me tell you all the story...

The clock struck midnight and we all shout “HAPPY NEW YEAR!” And my boyfriends family usually shoots guns and pops the huge fireworks.. so they do so as usual.

When it was time to put stuff away I helped him put the gun away and carry the guns inside to the safe. We walk back outside and he kisses me and says happy new year and I say the same.. it was freezing so I reached in to give him a big hug and I tried to put my hands around him and he was hesitant so I asked “what’s wrong babe?”

He says “nothing babe! I’m just so excited for 2018 with you. Another year has come and gone and I’m so excited to be able to spend it all with you. It’s another year for us to work on ourselves and to accomplish more goals together. I’m so grateful for you and for how amazing you are and have been to me.” He continued to shower me with ALL the things you wanna hear as a girl and he just continued to call me his blessing from God.

Because he often complements me and tells me how grateful he is for me, I didn’t think anything of it.. I mean it’s New Years and I thought we were just having a heart to heart conversation! But then, he says “But, in order for us to be able to accomplish all these great things together I need to know if you will marry me?” And he gets down on one knee. OMFG I flipped shit and I said “Finally! yes!” ❤️❤️❤️
