Children's clothing

I want to ask what everyone else thinks about this subject. Do you feel like people stereotype when it comes to children's clothing? What I mean is that certain races are supposed to wear a certain brand.

My experience with this is that yes some people do stereotype. For example I have a biracial child and I have had several people tell me that he needs to be wearing more "black" brands such as rocawear or enyce. I personally feel like I'm going to dress my child however I want in whatever brand i want. What do you ladies think?
