Should i let it go?

My husband and i have a 19 month old daughter and i really want my kids to be close in age. We both agree that we want 2 kids but can’t seem to agree on the timing. We are originally from Mi and live in Ar due to his job. We are planning on moving back once he finds a different job but he doesn’t want to try for another until then. He thinks we need more support from family. I agree that the support would be nice but it could be up to a year until we move back. It’s always meant so much to me to have my kids close in age. It’s breaking my heart that he doesn’t want the same things i want. Should i just let it go ? Or should i keep trying to convince him? I don’t want to be the nagging wife.
