BFF spoke bad about me getting pregnant & walked out on me at the beginning of my pregnancy & now that I’m days away from due date, she messages me hoping our friendship will get fixed this year & to let her know when I give birth

My best friend dropped me as a friend once when she was pregnant with her second. When she found out I was pregnant a year later, she wanted to reconcile. We started hanging out again for about 4 months, and when my daughter was about 3 months old, she ended the friendship again. She was totally just nosey and wanted to see how me/my daughter were, and once she saw we were happy and the excitement wore off, she dumped me again. When I got married a year later, she tried waltzing back into my life again and I gave her the big middle finger. Life's too short to have to put up with people that only want you in their lives when it's convenient for them.

It’s for the attention. You know how many “friends” I gained when I announced I was pregnant that didn’t even talk to me beforehand? A girl I used to be best friends with started tagging me in all of this “tag the best mommy” stuff on Facebook but before that she hadn’t spoken to me in a literal year, not even when my dad died but all the sudden she’s interested bc I’m pregnant.
