Help, need opinions.

So i had my first OB appointment today (10 weeks 4 days)

The doctor couldn’t find a heartbeat in the office, so i was sent for a stat ultrasound.

The tech couldn’t find the baby, So we did an internal ultrasound...

I am only measuring at 7 weeks.

results were read and they didn’t hear or see a heartbeat.

Doctor is saying to schedule a D&E; or i will eventually have a miscarriage.

It doesn’t feel right, I am calling tomorrow to tell her I am still going for my first set of blood work to check my hCG levels. I think that will make me feel more at ease about scheduling a procedure.

Has anyone had a similar experience? What was the end result? Thank you, I am so heartbroken.
